FAMILIAR SPACES

Familiar Spaces  is a collaborative project in which the artist uses everyday imagery taken by the subjects in their own living spaces. This allows the artist to virtually enter their personal spaces, which was vital in a time of social distancing and isolation. Muscat uses her own perspective of the subject to create depictions that vary in style and technique. By familiarising herself with other people’s realities, she finds a sense of longing and serenity.
